Day 2- Museum Trip number 1

Our first Museum Trip!

Today we went to the Natural History Museum! Everybody was very excited!

Jane's class went to look at the Solar System:

In order to enter the exhibition, the students had to ride the very beautiful Globe Escalator.

Once inside, they learned a lot about our planet and the others in the Solar System.

In this video Abdulwahed is explaining a feature in the museum that shows water's effect on the landscape:

Elisabete's class went to the Mammals section and Helena's class looked at Creepy Crawlies!

When we got back, the students had their lunch break, taking full advantage of the great outdoor space we have at the centre:

Some did a lot of running...

...and table tennis!

While others enjoyed chilling out with their friends!

Then in the afternoon, the students continued with their work from the museum resulting in some fantastic presentations that were shown at the end of the day!

Jane's class made their names in Ancient Runes using some clay.

At the end of the day we were treated once again to some lovely presentations!

Helena's class presented the stage they have made in preparation for their Creep Crawly puppet show at the end of the week.

Elisabete's class showed us their animal masks inspired by their trip to the museum this morning.

Jane's class presented us with the solar system. They made the planets and told us an interesting fact about each one: Did you know that Saturn has 24 moons!?

After another great day, we are happy to announce that we have 4 star students amongst  all of the fantastic pupils we have here!

Well done to Polina, Abdullah, Alexander and Artem!
