Day 3- Continuing with our Project Work

We spent today continuing with our project work.

Helena's class made the puppets for their up and coming stage show; each student chose an insect.

Elisabete's class wrote a story about a bear called Timmy! Here is an extract from it:

'Once upon a time their was a bear called Timmy, who lived in a forest with a river. One day, Timmy was fishing outside and a Lion called Italy saw him and started a fight with him and he hit him in the forehead. Then, a dog called Brown saw them, separate them and told them that they shouldn't fight- they should become friends instead. But they didn't want to.'

Jane's class did some research on famous events that took place on their birthdays and popular culture in the year of their birth using this time capsule website:

After lunch we all watched a movie together, The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, starring Wallace and Gromit!

It was great for learning the names of some animals and vegetables. And, of course, CHEESE! Everybody enjoyed it and laughed a lot!

Then we all continued with work for our projects, resulting in some fine examples of hard work!

Helena and Elisabete's class joined and did a fact treasure hunt; they presented us with some interesting things about different countries in the world: Did you know that Australia is the 6th biggest country in the world?

Jane's class presented some fantastic rocket posters displaying all of thing they learned when researching their birthdays.

Again we had 3 winners of wristbands, nominated by their teachers for extra effort!

WELL DONE TO ANDREA, ADA AND GUIDO!
Tomorrow, Elisabete's and Jane's classes will be going to the Science Museum and Helena's class will be going to the Butterfly Tent at the Natural History Museum. We are all very excited!
