Week 2: Day 4

This morning, the classes got up to all kinds of interesting things!

Jane's class were learning how to use the words 'will' and 'might' correctly through constructing their own survival guides.

Then each student chose their own situation to provide a survival kit for. Berat decided design an Xbox survival kit including things like a microphone, headphones, pizza, a key to lock the door and a friend. Teacher, Jane, decided she needed a Discovery Summer survival kit with a fold out bed and some ear plugs!

Elisabete's class rehearsed their project, Britain's Got Talent, which allowed them to practice forming and answering questions and giving opinions. These are the three TERRIFYING judges:

MR SIMON COWELL (Maria)

                                               MR PIERS MORGAN (Varvara)

                                                                                                       MISS AMANDA HOLDEN (Raha)

They will be delivering the verdict on the wide range of talents the rest of the class have to offer including football, gymnastics and magic! We can't wait to see the show!

Helena's class were working on adjectives and dialogue used in a shop environment.

They looked at the clothes each student was was wearing and described it: Marcelo and Daniil are wearing stripy tops, Artemy has a shiny bag, Pavlina has a glittery jacket and Natalia is wearing a checked dress.

Then they set up shops in the class room and did role plays with each student being a shopkeeper and a customer.

They each wrote a shopping list:

And then they found the appropriate shop to buy from.

In the afternoon, we went on a trip! Helena's class went to the Natural History Museum gardens and both Elisabete's and Jane's class went to the Dinosaur Exhibition in the museum itself.

In the Wildlife Gardens, Helena's class collected leaves to use for a collage. On their way round the beautiful gardens, they saw loads of interesting things; a beehive, some bird houses, moorhen chicks and even a real life dinosaur footprint!

There were lovely ponds beautiful plants that the students loved looking at.

And there were even some funky statues to pose next to!

Here is one of the collages that the students made using the materials they found on their visit to the gardens.

The other group spent the afternoon doing The Great Dino Hunt. The students had to walk around the dinosaur section answering questions about certain dinosaurs and the era in which they lived.

They even had to answer a joke: What do you call a blind dinosaur? A Doyouthinkhesauras

The winners of the quiz were Viktor and Kuba!
Yellow bands were awarded to Viktor, Marcelo, Mariavittoria, Artem, Polina.
