Week 3: Day 2- The Science Museum!

Today we went to the Science Museum! The classes went to different areas of the museum and looked at different topics.

Raquel's class looked at the SPACE section, as they are learning about space and the solar system this week.

Helena's class looked at the section called The Making of the Modern World. They focused on inventions that improved transport.

Elisabete's class went to the Who Am I exhibition where they could find out lots about themselves and the human body through a series of interactive activities.

Jane's class went to the Into the Future section where they were offered insights into future technology and had the opportunity to think about whether they agreed with it.

After lunch, the students started their afternoon activities.

Jane's class made comic strips online!

Here is a sample made by Selin, Arpi, Dora and Giorgia.

This entertaining strip was created by Denis!

They then made the characters that starred in their comic strips.

Elisabete and Helena's class joined and made some masks of what they would look like in 50 years time!

Some were very optimistic about retaining their youth:

Others accepted the fact they may get wrinkles!

Raquel's class made a super rocket as a class! They were very creative!

We then had some super presentations to finish our day.

Raquel's class presented their AMAZING rocket:

Whilst Elisabete's and Helena's classes presented the masks they made and some products designed to stop them from looking like their masks!

Jane's class are saving their presentation for tomorrow as they were not quite finished preparing their comic strip characters. We can't wait to see it!

Finally, wristbands were won by 5 students today:

WELL DONE to Numa, Carlotta, Ughetta, Teresa and Zala!
