Week 4, Day 5: Our final day!

Our final day at DS Queen's Gate was fantastic! We are very sad that our 4 weeks are over, but we are SO proud of this week's presentations!

After a morning of tests, the final preparations for the presentations were made.

Jane's class did their plays about saving the environment. They were very entertaining but had a serious message about saving the planet.

Elisabete's class did a puppet show about dinosaurs using the stories they had been writing on previous days. The narrators were fantastic, as were the puppeteers!

Helena's class also did a puppet show, but theirs was about insects, what they like to do and where they live. It was very fun to watch and really informative! Apparently Liza the bee likes eating Nutella!

After the presentations, all of the certificates were handed out and there were, once again, many wristband winners! However, a special mention must go to three of our students.

Polina, Raha and Artem put up with us for 4 WEEKS and were awarded with a London mug!

After the presentations and lunch came the afternoon activities. The students started with making pencil rockets, they had great fun launching all over the place!

Then they watched Despicable Me! It was hilarious!

Then came the end of the day, and the end of Queen's Gate!

There were some emotional goodbyes and lots of e-mail addresses exchanged. The students left and the staff packed up, DS Queen's Gate 2013 is over!

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL NEXT YEAR!
