The Teens Hit the London Eye!

This afternoon our teens stepped into one of the most iconic features of the London skyline, the London Eye! From inside our very own pod, we could spot landmarks, use the interactive maps and get some selfies with the city itself.

The London Eye lives on the South Bank of the River Thames and stands at 443 feet tall. The glorious weather provided us with stunning views of London and beyond. Take a look at some panoramic shots of our time above the city.

Did you know that the 32 capsules on the London Eye are representative of the 32 London boroughs?
However the capsules are in fact numbered 1 to 33, as the number 13 is considered to be unlucky!

A ride around the London Eye takes 30 minutes.

The Eye travels at a speed of about 0.6 miles per hour!

The London Eye can carry 800 people on each rotation, which is equal to 11 London red double-decker buses!

Following our trip around the Eye, we headed back to Queen's Gate and took a quick detour to Parliament Square!
