A day in the life of a student at Discovery Summer Queen's Gate...
Have you ever wondered what the students get up to on a day to day basis? Lets take a look!
After arriving at 9 am, the students have three hours of classes. Here the students do grammar work, prepare for their project and speak lots of English with their fellow peers. The teachers always prepare very engaging activities for the class to improve their language skills in a fun and interactive way!
In between classes the students enjoy break time on the terrace. Here they can play games, re-fuel with a snack from the tuck shop and chat with other students!
Following the morning classes comes the most important part of the day.. lunch time! The students enjoy their lunch in the lovely canteen.
Our afternoon activities are always jam-packed with exciting activities for the students from team building games, arts and crafts to drama sessions. For example today we had relay and egg and spoon style races!
As well as all this our students enjoy weekly museum visits and tomorrow we will be going to the park to enjoy some traditional sports!
Our teens are out and about three afternoons a week exploring London's landmarks!
