Trips to Space, Dungeons and Much More!

Week 5 at Queen's Gate has been a fun one so far. The students have been up to all sorts, from felt craft, dance moves and even a trip to space!

The students really enjoy our afternoon performing arts sessions. They're great team building activities and allow the students to really come out of their shells and have some fun!

This week the students have also been designing and creating their own felt art. They came up with fantastic designs for phone cases, bracelets and much more, lets take a look!

We also had some clever ideas of ways to use pegs to create some brilliant artwork!

As usual the students have been working on a project this week. To help them research the whole school took a trip to the Science Museum this Tuesday, where we explored space, big data and the modern world!

You may be wondering what our teens have been up to! Today they were lucky enough to take a trip to the London Dungeons!! The students stepped back in time like never before, walking through London's gruesome past, they came face-to-face with the dark past of the city! We were able to see, smell and listen to the stories of many characters from the King's torturers to Jack the Ripper's victims.

To be completely taken back in time, we were unable to capture pictures of the haunted streets, but be sure to keep an eye on the blog as the teens will be posting about their thrilling experience soon!
