End of Week 1

Happy 7th Birthday Sofia!

Week 1 at Queen’s Gate has come to an end. All of our staff and students have had a fantastic first week. On Friday afternoon the students were finally able to present their projects to their parents! Each class had created wonderful projects using research from their trip to the Science Museum. We had some very creative presentations including fascinating inventions and a couple of robots!

Alex's class spent the morning putting the final touches on their project! They had worked together to create a new planet!

The trips enjoyed another trip out in the afternoon. After strolling past the Royal Albert Hall through Hyde Park, the teens had a wander round the Serpentine Gallery. Here they viewed the Grayson Perry exhibition which was very interesting and thought provoking.

The students take the stage!

After presenting their wonderful robots to the audience,James's class reflected on their first week...

"We love Discovery Summer! We have had an awesome week it was really good! It was fantastic everyday! We like James he is a very good teacher" Sofia aged 7 (Lebanese), Maddy aged 7 (Italian), Jaqui aged 7 (Chinese), Kaan aged 7 (Turkish), Daniil aged 8 (Russian) and Yueting aged 7 (Chinese).

We'd like to wish the very best to all our students who left this week and we hope to see you again next summer!
