Read Elizaveta's interview with some of our junior students below!

Today we celebrated International Day. All the students gathered and brought in traditional foods. Everyone was able to try the different types of foods from noodles to apple cake! Here are the opinions of some of the junior students...

Me: "What did you bring in today?"
Student: " I brought in some pancakes"
Me: "Delicious, are you enjoying International Day?"
Student: "Yes!"
Me: "Why?"
Students: "Because there are many types of food and the weather is good"

The teens also took some time to reflect on the festivities of the day. Take a read of Ela's thoughts below!

"I had so much fun during International Day. Everyone brought their own food and we ate together. We played games and took lots of photos. We were able to try many different foods!"

Alex also a wrote a short paragraph documenting the day...

"Today was International Day at Discovery Summer. From 16:00 to 17:00 the students were able to try dishes from all over the world. Two Thai students told me about a rice dish that their parents brought in. The rice tasted a bit spicy but was delicious! Overall it was very interesting to try food from so many different countries and I really enjoyed the day!"
